Screens count for Pongal release films

Pongal is one of the biggest traditional Hindu festivals for Tamil people. Four films are waiting to release in this biggest festival day in which all the four movies have good expectation from the audience.

But this Pongal don’t have any lead hero like RajiniKanth, KamalHaasan, Vijay and Ajith movies. The films releasing in Pongal with their screen count is listed below.

RajiniMurugan starring Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthi Suresh takes a count of 250+ screens and leads all the other films in this Pongal race. This movie is directed by ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar sangam’ fame Ponram and produced by Thirupathi brothers.

Gethu stands next releasing in 230+ screens. The film has Udhayanidhi Stalin and Amy Jackson in the lead and directed by Thirukumaran.

Next is Kathakali which casts Vishal and Catherine Tresa has a count of 180+ screens. The movie is directed by Pandiraj and produced by Vishal Film Factory along with Pasanga Productions.

Finally, Director Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai starring Sasikumar and Varalaxmi has got a count of 180+ screens. All the four films are much expected by the people.
